IN THE LIVELIHOOD SECTOR

The Livelihood School, a research and training institution engaged in building and dissemination of knowledge necessary for promoting large number of livelihoods needs suitable candidates for the following positions for its offices located at Hyderabad, Kolkata and Bhopal. All positions require a Masters Degree, preferably in Social Work, Economics or Management, skills in articulation and communication (verbal and non-verbal), public speaking skills and willingness to travel especially in rural areas. The positions and requirements specific to each of them are given below:

Senior Faculty and Faculty

• A doctoral dissertation in any of the above will be given preference.

• 10-12 years experience working with development sector or in an academic institution dealing in development related subjects.
• Capacity to conceptualize and document socio-economic processes: Articles/ Papers published in referred journals and other publications.

• Skills to manage knowledge processes and academic administration.

• Age: 30-40 years

Senior Faculty Associate / Faculty Associate

•  Experience working with development sector (6-8 years for Senior Faculty Associate, 2-3 years for Faculty Associate).

• Published or un-published Articles/Papers.

• Skills for knowledge building and capacity for case research and writing.

• Capacity to build external linkages.

• Age : 25-35 years.

Research-Teaching Assistant

• 1-2 years experience working with development sector.

• Published or un-published Articles/Papers.

• Age: 25 years.

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience as per the industry standards.
